Cost-Optimized ARM:
Affordable Ampere entry plan
Affordable ARM-based cloud servers for test and development environments and smaller projects.

ARM performance for compatible workloads
A distinct architecture in the virtual server range.
These Cost-Optimized instances use Ampere processors with ARM architecture. They suit smaller projects and test environments, provided your software supports ARM.
Before choosing, check that your operating system, container images and applications are compatible. These models are listed separately from x86 instances so the architecture is clear.

Check software compatibility
Suitable when your operating system and applications support ARM.
Smaller projects
For compatible development, test and project environments.
Depending on the instance type, cloud regions may include Falkenstein and Nuremberg (Germany), Helsinki (Finland), Ashburn and Hillsboro (USA), and Singapore. Location labels show possible regions for each product family; they do not indicate live availability. Germany and Finland are in the EU. Server data is processed outside the EU in the US and Singapore. Check the specific product location and privacy information before ordering.

What defines these cloud profiles
KVM, ECC RAM and NVMe
Cloud instances use KVM, ECC memory and NVMe SSD storage. The CPU generation depends on the selected profile and location.
Allowance varies by location
Shared-resource profiles include 20 TB of monthly traffic at EU locations. Other locations have an allowance that depends on profile and size; the specific amount is shown with each plan.
DDoS protection and custom ISOs
DDoS protection is included. KVM instances can mount custom ISO images; the image architecture must match the server (x86 or ARM64).
Which software runs on an ARM instance?
The operating system and software must support ARM64. Check that your applications are compatible before installation.
Can I use a custom ISO?
Yes, if the ISO image supports ARM64. You are responsible for installation and network configuration.
How quickly is the server available?
Available standard instances are provisioned automatically after the order is completed. A custom ISO may require additional manual installation steps.
