Regular Performance:
Flexible with a strong price-to-performance ratio
Cloud servers for web applications, small databases, and test and development environments.

Balanced for everyday workloads
A flexible profile for websites, databases and development projects.
Regular Performance combines shared resources with newer hardware generations than Cost-Optimized. It offers a balanced option for web applications, small databases, and test and development environments.
This category suits projects with low to moderate CPU usage that need room to grow without requiring maximum processing power at all times.
Shared resources
Balanced performance for a wide range of applications.
Newer generation
Current-generation x86 hardware provides a flexible foundation for ongoing projects.
Versatile
For websites, smaller databases, and development environments.
Depending on the instance type, cloud regions may include Falkenstein and Nuremberg (Germany), Helsinki (Finland), Ashburn and Hillsboro (USA), and Singapore. Location labels show possible regions for each product family; they do not indicate live availability. Germany and Finland are in the EU. Server data is processed outside the EU in the US and Singapore. Check the specific product location and privacy information before ordering.

What defines these cloud profiles
KVM, ECC RAM and NVMe
Cloud instances use KVM, ECC memory and NVMe SSD storage. The CPU generation depends on the selected profile and location.
Allowance varies by location
Shared-resource profiles include 20 TB of monthly traffic at EU locations. Other locations have an allowance that depends on profile and size; the specific amount is shown with each plan.
DDoS protection and custom ISOs
DDoS protection is included. KVM instances can mount custom ISO images; the image architecture must match the server (x86 or ARM64).
Can I choose Intel or AMD for an x86 profile?
x86 instances may run on Intel or AMD hardware. You cannot select the CPU manufacturer for this profile; allocation depends on available hardware.
Will a custom ISO install itself automatically?
No. An ISO image can be attached for a manual installation. You are responsible for installation and network configuration.
How quickly is the server available?
Available standard instances are provisioned automatically after the order is completed. A custom ISO may require additional manual installation steps.
