Legacy servers for your projects
Virtual servers on legacy HP hardware, affordably suited to small websites, TeamSpeak and lightweight game server projects. Six sizes scale CPU, RAM and HDD storage.

Choose a suitable size
The six tiers range from 1 vCPU and 2 GB RAM to 8 vCPUs and 32 GB RAM. SSD cache speeds up the HDD storage. Older hardware is best suited to smaller projects, test environments and services with moderate resource needs. For sustained high CPU usage, consider a more powerful cloud server.
Entry
1 vCPUFor small websites, a TeamSpeak server or initial testing.
Compact
2 vCPUFor small services and community projects that need a little more room.
Expansion
3 vCPUFor several small applications and services.
Versatile
4 vCPUMore resources for growing projects.
High performance
6 vCPUA larger virtual environment for more demanding projects.
Largest tier
8 vCPUThe largest Legacy Server plan for several small services with moderate resource needs.
A cost-conscious base for smaller services
HPE ProLiant DL360p Gen8
Legacy HPE hardware with DDR3 memory powers these servers. The six plan sizes range from 1 to 8 vCPU and from 2 to 32 GB RAM.
HDD with SSD cache
Data is stored on HDDs and accelerated by SSD caching. This is different from a fully SSD-based server.
IPv4 and IPv6 included
Dual stack with IPv4 and IPv6 is included by default. Other IP variants may be available as an add-on in the shop. DDoS protection is included.
What projects suit this category?
It is intended for smaller websites, test environments, TeamSpeak and light services. Cloud profiles are a better fit for sustained high CPU load or SSD-based storage performance.
Can I choose the operating system?
Available operating system options and provisioning are shown with each offer in the shop.
Virtual servers on legacy hardware
Legacy Servers are a separate virtual server category on older HP hardware, using HPE ProLiant DL360p Gen8 systems with DDR3 memory.
